Moral Agent & Subject of Moral Worth
A moral agent is anyone competent to understand that he or she can cause harm, and capable of acting with reference to right and wrong. Moral agents should use their power judiciously and not cause unjustified harm. A subject of moral worth is any person, being, or natural system that can be caused harm. Subjects of moral worth should never be caused harm without good reason.
